CAPTAIN KHALILAH FLEMISTER, G.M.D.C.
Captain Khalilah Flemister,
believes both in giving at the
"office" - and at home in the
community! An 1l-year veteran,
Captain Flemister has worked
in a number of commands,
including R.M.S.C., Trials
and Litigation, and G.M.D.C.
She is trained in undercover
operations, courtroom
testimony, interviewing and
interrogation, and criminal street
gangs investigations. Captain
Flemister also uses her time and
resources to keep the G.M.D.C.
facility in a constant positive
mood by running a staff book
club and by assisting Correction
Officers prepare for promotional
exams.
In the community, she
is a strong believer in making
the holidays better for those
who would otherwise not
have a lot to celebrate. Capt.
Flemister founded "What Would
Love Do,?" an organization
that assists children within the
community. During each holiday
season, it chooses a group
of children and answers their
“Dear Santa” letters and invites
them to holiday parties.
Capt.
Flemister also volunteers both
her time and financial resources
to bring smiles to the faces
of children in juvenile homes,
hospitals and foster care.
