The trees near the red letter "G" are those that today help form the leafy canopy beneath which island visitors, after disenbarking from the ferry, walk as they stroll east beyond the former administration building toward the road that leads northward to the main cemetery area or southward to island's industrial area. To the left of the red letter "H" is the house of one of the resident staff. To the left of the red letter "I" is the smoke stack of the "Dynamo Room," the island's power plant. But the white smoke or steam seems coming from a lower source.
